YUTORI
Misty dawn over the Tagaytay highlands

Tagaytay, Philippines

A spacious retreat in cool-weather Tagaytay

A Japanese-minimalist guesthouse above the mist of Tagaytay — unhurried mornings, pine-scented air, and a quiet view of the caldera.

The philosophy

Yutori — the space to breathe

Yutori is the Japanese sense of spaciousness and unhurried ease. We built this guesthouse in the cool air above Tagaytay to give you exactly that: room to slow down, mornings without a schedule, and a quiet view of the caldera.

Kind words

What guests say

“The kind of quiet we forgot existed”

We woke to fog rolling over the ridge and coffee already set out on the low table. Kaze Studio is small but so well-considered — we never wanted to leave the window.

— Marisol & JM · February 2026
“Perfect for our reunion”

The Whole House gave all twelve of us space without crowding. The fire pit at dusk and the slow breakfast the next morning were the highlights of our year.

— The Tan Family · January 2026
“Felt like a ryokan, ten minutes from the ridge”

Mori Deluxe's soaking tub by the window is everything. Calm, warm wood, and that highland green the whole time. Booking the same weekend next year.

— Aileen R. · December 2025

Frequently asked

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is from 2:00 PM and check-out is by 12:00 PM. If you'd like an earlier check-in or late check-out, let us know in advance and we'll do our best when the schedule allows.

How do I reserve a room and is there a deposit?

A 50% deposit secures your dates. You can reserve directly through this site — the balance is settled on arrival via GCash, Maya, bank transfer, card, or cash.

What is the weather like in Tagaytay?

Tagaytay sits about 600m above sea level, so it stays cool year-round — usually 18–26°C, cooler in the evenings. Bring a layer for mornings and the fire-pit evenings.

How do we get there from Manila?

It's roughly a 1.5–2 hour drive from Manila via SLEX and the Sta. Rosa–Tagaytay Road. We'll send detailed directions and a pin once your booking is confirmed. Ride-hailing and private transfers can be arranged.
